Hayden's Birth- October 9, 2014

My beautiful nephew was born on October 9, 2014 at Trios Hospital. :) Hayden Timothy Myrland made his grand entrance by C-Section at 8:28am. I was lucky enough to be with my sister and her boyfriend, Tim, as they welcomed their little one into the world. I was present for my niece's birth as well, but this was my first time watching a C-Section.

Brooke was in great spirits all day, even as she was poked and poked and poked by at least 4 different nurses on the floor- they were having a hard time getting her veins. Tim was quite queasy during this part- at one point even having to leave the room. Haha! I have to admit, the anticipation and pain of it all had me thinking twice about wanting a little bundle of joy in the future- but the moment I held my little man, I was hooked. Here are some pictures from his birth- I did quite a few pictures in black and white because I really feel they do justice to such an amazing moment in life.
